What's new PTTW disappeared when our host's servers were vandalized. We're taking this opportunity to rethink a few things around here in what we present and how we present it. So here are few things to consider:
- Not all of the links are working. Some pages haven't been restyled yet, others are waiting to be rewritten. If a link brings you back here, try again later (or better yet, send your ideas to us to be included on the site, info on how you can do it is on our submission guidelines page).
- There is now a Site Map that lists our pages that have been finished, and pages that are still being worked on.
- If you are using IE 7 and don't see a menu bar to your left, you can either navigate using our sitemap and open pages in different tabs or switch to Firefox and use the menu. [Note: our code is valid, so we don't know why IE 7 doesn't like to show our menu.]
- There is a forum! You can ask questions and one of our helpful moderators will answer. Note: the Forum has a new web address. Click to join pttw_forum
PTTW Call for Entries. There have been Church-shaking events in the past three years. The ordination of Gene Robinson, Same-sex marriages, the Lambeth Report, and the American Anglican Council's reactions have all contributed to great conversations in the Church.
PTTW wants to hear your feelings about these events, as well as stories of first visits to the Episcopal Church, stories about why you've left the EC, we're even starting a section of book reviews.
We ask that editorials and stories are neither insulting nor inflamatory. Please read our submission guidelines page for more information on submitting content to PTTW.
Peek Through The Window first appeared in 1998 and was run by Maria Hoshaw, in 2002 the ownership and control of the site was transfered to a new group of web weavers. We are excited about the opportunity this ministry has to offer. We are calling ourselves the PTTW Vestry and you can learn more about us through the PTTW Vestry link. The summer of 2007 saw a change of head webweaver and a major overhaul expansion is taking place behind the scenes. God willing, the curtain will go up sometime in 2008.
