Confirmation

When I was confirmed, I took a class for several weeks, where we did Bible study, explored the meaning of our faith, and then we went before the Bishop. Afterwards, there was a party, but there were almost a dozen of us. All this took place in the seventh grade.

Being baptised as an infant, I didn't really get the change to take on the promises that were made on my behalf. Confirmation gave me that opportunity. There are new programs that work with teens on the process, some of which are "Y2B" or "Yes to Baptism" courses, as new families join with unbaptised children, or didn't baptise their children.
